Oktawave Cloud Instance (OCI) – is a logical entity working in virtualized resources of Oktawave data centers, defined by the amount of RAM (defined in GB, gigabytes) and the number of VCPU's with a specific computing power (expressed in GHz, gigahertz), which allows to run operating system. OCI is the logical equivalent of the server.

  • Good to know: please remember that when you turn the Autoscaler on, the monthly cost of an OCI instance may change (either increase or decrease) depending on the level of utilization of the instance.   • Traffic between instances in the private network is not being counted.
  • In case of hourly calculating and turning instances into the stand-by mode we will not charged any fee except this for the storage one.

The instance name contains four pieces of information, they are: version of the instance template, type, number of CPUs and amount of RAM. Instances of highmemory type are cost optimized in terms of systems with large memory requirements, instances of type highcpu - for systems with high computational demand. Each instance VCPU is clocked a frequency of 2.5 GHz.

OKS

Oktawave Kubernetes Service (OKS) - infrastructure resources on master nodes are available free of charge. You only pay for resources consumed under worker nodes according to the price list. As part of the Kubernetes cluster architecture, you can use server instances, private networks, storage, load balancer and public IP address.

  • For each instance a block of 50 task scheduler executions is free of charge. Exceeding this number will cause an additional package cost.
  • Each instance of the OCI and the Application has a free package of 1500 points in the Oktawave Watch service. One check for the one external location corresponds to one point, and one FullPage type check corresponds to the value of 5 points. Exceeding 1500 points will incur additional package. Checks are performed by default with two external locations. It is possible to include more locations.

  • MS SQL licenses are accounted on a monthly basis. Running instances of MS SQL software will load the corresponding monthly account fee as set out in the price list multiplied by the number of processors instance.
  • All currently supplied applications in the Oktawave are delivered free of charge. All of the above prices are net prices, if you have any questions considering tax issue, please read carefully our Tax help page.
  • In the case of MS SQL license minimum number of billable vCPU is 4. Next you are charged according to the rates for each additional 4 vCPU.
  • Details of the licenses settlement in the specific time periods are described in the Knowledge Base.
  • Installing a third-party software component (i.e. Microsoft) on the Oktawave instances, which is a subject to the CAL/SAL license, please make sure if it complies with your current license.
  • The service provider has the right to change prices. The User will be notified of any change. The change comes into force after 10 days from the date of sending the information about the change, unless the User resigns from the services within this period. The Terms of Service apply to all other matters.
  • The license price list is valid from 01/05/2022. The price list valid until 30/04/2022 is available here.

  • (1) Support of hosting panel management or other services related to further resale of Oktawave resources are subject to individual regulations.
  • (2) Such as User domains, websites.
  • (3) Oktawave determines the scanning method, including the solution used. Oktawave may request additional remuneration for the performance of certain tasks, for example, due to scanning frequency, the solution used, or if in the opinion of Oktawave the tasks may in a given case require more work or outlays than normally.
  • (4) Server number and size (vCPU / GB RAM) and the time of infrastructure availability are agreed on a case-by-case basis.
  • (5) May be subject to additional fee.
  • (6) Backup stored in one of the Oktawave data centres.
  • (7) The fee is charged when the Client requests backup service (Silver Plus package). The fee is fixed for each OCI instance (Server)/mth and is charged monthly in advance regardless of how much space (GB) has been purchased for backup storage.
  • (8) In the Platinium Package, backup is performed according to a schedule agreed with the Client in advance. Frequency and times of backup in Silver and Gold Packages are determined by Oktawave.
  • (9) Applicable only to communication platforms supported by Oktawave.
  • (10) A request is an order to perform one administrative task, such as server configuration according to the specification, submitted via appropriate channel (such as email or telephone).
